    Gene Hackman Has Died

    Legendary actor Gene Hackman, 95, and his wife Betsy Arakawa were found deceased in their Santa Fe home. Authorities report no signs of foul play. Hackman was renowned for roles in “The French Connection” and “Unforgiven.”

    Sad start to the day today.  We’ve lost one of the greats.  Legendary actor Gene Hackman has died.

    Police in Santa Fe, New Mexico confirmed late last night that the bodies of Gene, his wife Betsy Arakawa, and their dog had been found inside their home yesterday.

    No foul play is suspected and no cause of death has been announced.

    Gene had just turned 95 last month.

    He won Oscars for “The French Connection” in 1972 and “Unforgiven” in 1993.
