Do You Think of These Celebrities When You Read a Romance Novel?

Angelina Jolie and Channing Tatum are the most popular celebrities pictured when people read a romance novel, according to a survey. They’re followed by Brad Pitt, Megan Fox, Zendaya, and Chris Hemsworth.

This might be a little surprising to you, but the top celebrity people have in their minds when they read a romance novel is NOT Fabio

2,000 American romance readers were asked who they picture as the characters in their naughty books.

17% of married readers picture their spouse, 7% think of an ex, and 21% think of their celebrity crush.  These are the most popular choices:

Women:

Angelina Jolie, 26%

Megan Fox, 21%

Zendaya, 20%

Selena Gomez, 19%

Scarlett Johansson, 19%

Men:

Channing Tatum, 26%

Brad Pitt, 22%

Chris Hemsworth, 20%

Ryan Reynolds, 19%

Chris Evans, 17%

Among Gen Z romance readers, the most often pictured are Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet.  Millennials and Gen X think of Angelina and Channing,  and baby boomers think of Halle Berry and Brad.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
