The L.A. Sheriff’s Department released chest-cam footage of two cops rescuing a 100-year-old lady from a retirement home during the Eaton Fire this month.
They saw another woman outside walking her dog, and told her to evacuate. She told them there might still be someone inside, so they went in.
The lady inside said she didn’t hear them yelling, because she hadn’t charged her hearing aid. It’s not clear how she got left behind, but she told them she’d been trying to find her way out of the building.
