Stupid Criminal: Inmate Escapes 2 Days Before Release, Instantly Regrets It

A Colorado inmate escaped just 2 days before release, only to be caught 35 minutes later. Now his stay is going to be much longer.

Escaping from prison seems like a last-ditch effort to sniff freedom.  You wouldn’t try it if you had a chance to be released any time soon.  Right?

A man named Lucas Brown was caught escaping from a jail in Colorado last Thursday night.  He was only on the loose for 35 MINUTES.

And get this:  He was supposed to be released just TWO DAYS LATER.  Now that won’t be happening.

Lucas was working as a “kitchen trustee” and was cleaning up for the night.  He went out to take out the trash . . . and just ran off.

Here’s another twist:  He was previously caught escaping back in 2017 . . . so he shouldn’t have qualified to be in a “trustee” position, with outdoor access.  He had the role for about a month, but didn’t try to make a run for it until last week.

Lucas was serving a 90 day-sentence.  There’s no word how much extra time is being tacked on due to the escape attempt.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
