Betty White’s Secret? Hot Dogs and Cake for Breakfast

Betty White lived to 99 on hot dogs, vodka, and chocolate cake for breakfast—proof that joy might be the real superfood after all.

Betty White lived to be 99, and she often credited her longevity to her positive attitude.  And JUNK FOOD.

Betty reportedly ate a HOT DOG every day.  And she also loved her vodka.  But she didn’t stop there.

Meghann Fahy from “The White Lotus” worked with Betty on a 2011 Hallmark movie called “The Lost Valentine”.  And she says Betty would eat chocolate cake for breakfast, quote, “like a real, true legend.”

She also mentioned the vodka, but she said Betty was a professional on the set.

There’s something to be said for the health benefits of doing what makes you happy.  But genetics have to come into play, too.  A lot of people probably COULDN’T live that long on a diet of hot dogs, vodka, and chocolate cake.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
