Why You’re Probably Not Drinking Enough Water

Most Americans know hydration matters, but 34% skip water until after 3 PM. Are you staying hydrated?

Drinking eight glasses of water every day is a little like FLOSSING.  Most of us go through “phases” where we’re really good about it.  And then we stop doing it for MONTHS at a time.

In a recent survey, 87% of Americans say that getting enough hydration is important . . . especially in the morning . . . because it “sets the tone” for the day.

And yet, 34% of people say they typically don’t drink water until after 3:00 P.M.  And no, coffee does NOT count just because it technically has water . . . this is STRAIGHT water.

The survey asked people how much water they think they should drink before 10:00 A.M. to power a productive workday . . . and the top response was THREE glasses, or 24 ounces.

One common water “hack” is to get in the habit of downing a glass right when you wake up, since you’re usually thirsty then anyway.

Gen Z’ers are the generation most likely to do it, first thing in the morning.  Boomers are most likely to skip straight to coffee.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
