Snarkless: Heroic Teens, Bald Eagles, and Bestselling Authors

From heroic rescues to viral success stories, here are three Snarkless stories to brighten your day.

Snarkless – Because even we need a break from the madness. Once a day, we swallow our sarcasm (it burns, honestly) and deliver three legitimately good news stories—no cynicism, no side-eye, just pure, unfiltered positivity. It’s weird for us too, but hey, even the apocalypse deserves a little sunshine.

Here are a few more Snarkless stories making the rounds . . .

1.  A 16-year-old in Cleveland named Tyler Sowden saved a woman and two kids from a house fire on Friday.  He grabbed a ladder and got them all down off the roof.  One of the kids was a 10-month-old baby.  Tyler’s dad wasn’t home when it happened.  He told a reporter he’s proud of his son for stepping up.

2.  A small community near Minneapolis has been invaded by dozens of bald eagles.  But no one’s complaining, they think it’s great.  State officials say bald eagle numbers in general have been up the past few years.

In other bald eagle news, two internet-famous bald eagle chicks in California officially have names.  Elementary school students voted, and picked Sunny and Gizmo.

3.  A mom in Pennsylvania saw a guy signing books at Barnes & Noble, and he wasn’t getting much action . . . until she posted a video of him on TikTok.  Here’s the video.

His name is Jonathan Stanley, and the book is called “Purposeful Performance:  The Secret Mix of Connecting, Leading, and Succeeding”

He lost his job a while back, and says he poured his heart into writing the book, hoping to help “just one” person.

The woman who posted the video didn’t have a lot of followers, but it somehow went viral.  And overnight, he’s gone from a complete unknown to a BEST-SELLING AUTHOR.  He’s currently #9 on Amazon’s bestseller list.

Scott and Sadie

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
