Woman Fined $5K for Feeding Neighbor’s Cat

A Swiss woman faces $5K in fines for “stealing” her neighbor’s cat by feeding him and adding a cat flap so he could move in. 🐱🚪💸

If they re-open Alcatraz, it could house the world’s most DERANGED CRIMINALS . . . like old people who feed their neighbor’s cats.

A 68-year-old woman in Switzerland was in court yesterday, accused of repeatedly feeding “Leo” . . . her neighbor’s cat . . . over a 10-month period.

The woman lives in the same building as Leo . . . and she hasn’t JUST been feeding Leo, she has let him into her apartment, and she even added a cat flap to her door so that Leo could come and go as he pleases.

Leo’s owner was not cool with this, and things escalated over those 10 months.  Naturally, the biggest issue was that Leo liked his new digs and never wanted to go home.

Under Swiss law, cats are “other people’s property,” and systematic feeding and giving a home to another person’s cat is considered “unlawful appropriation.”  (In other words, it’s not enforced unless someone is basically taking over someone’s pet.)

The woman is facing several fines, which have exceeded $5,000.

Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
