Snarkless – Because even we need a break from the madness. Once a day, we swallow our sarcasm (it burns, honestly) and deliver three legitimately good news stories—no cynicism, no side-eye, just pure, unfiltered positivity. It’s weird for us too, but hey, even the apocalypse deserves a little sunshine.
Here are a few more Snarkless stories making the rounds . . .
1. A woman in North Carolina is trending after a random guy pulled up next to her car and asked about her bumper sticker that said “I stop for goats.”
She thought he might be some sort of creep. But it turned out he had a bunch of BABY goats in the back of his truck, and he just wanted to make her day, which he did.
2. Imagine walking into your yard and seeing this: Someone in Tennessee got in touch with the Chattanooga Zoo the other day after they found a peacock in their backyard. Here’s a photo.
The zoo has several peacocks that roam free, and two of them managed to sneak past security the day before. One was immediately caught, and now the second one is back safe and sound.
3. An 18-year-old girl in Texas named Ella Walker had surgery on her spine last month after a trampoline injury. She’s okay, but it meant she’d miss her senior prom. So the hospital made sure that didn’t happen.
The nurses surprised her with her OWN prom. They invited her friends . . . did the same “roaring ’20s” theme her real prom had . . . and doctors even let her take her back brace off for a few photos.
She called it the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for her, and it also reinforced her career path. She’s heading off to college this fall to become a nurse.
