Most Think They’d Beat a Lie Detector

67% of people think they could pass a lie detector—8% say they’d beat it even while LYING. Men 18-29 are the most confident. Suspicious? 🤔

If you had to pick someone in your life who would THINK they could beat a lie detector . . . who would you pick?

poll asked people if they thought they could pass a polygraph test, and 67% said YES . . . 8% said YES, even if they were lying . . . and 6% said NO.

The group most likely to think that they could beat a lie detector test even if they WERE lying is:  Men, between the ages of 18 and 29.

Many people don’t seem to have a lot of faith in lie detector tests.

12% say they believe polygraph tests “often” wrongly label people who are telling the truth as lying.  Another 43% say it probably happens “sometimes.”

And 13% say they think polygraph tests “often” wrongly label people who are lying as being truthful.  Another 45% say it probably happens “sometimes.”

Or maybe they were LYING about their feelings in this poll?

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
