Want Better Sleep? Try Sex Before Bed, Says Study

Struggling to sleep? A new study says a little sexy time—solo or partnered—can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Do you have trouble sleeping, or wake up in the middle of the night a lot?  You could try exercising, or buying a new pillow . . . or this.

A study in Australia found engaging in a little SEXY TIME before bed can help you sleep better.  It can involve a partner, or not.

Researchers gave couples sleep trackers to monitor how long it took them to fall asleep, and how often their sleep was interrupted.

When they engaged in sexual activity right before bed, they fell asleep faster and were less likely to wake up in the middle of the night.

They think it’s because it floods your brain with endorphins and hormones like oxytocin, which tends to lower feelings of anxiety.

Men AND women slept better when they got a little action before bed, even if it was solo action.

But the ones who saw the biggest benefits were actually the women.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
