Uber’s Lost & Found List Includes Chainsaws, Shrek Ears, and Divorce Papers

From chainsaws to Shrek ears, Uber’s Lost & Found Index reveals just how weird (and forgetful) we got in rideshares last year.

A big thanks to Uber for posting this list again, because it’s never a dull time . . .

Uber released its annual “Lost & Found Index” that looks at all the stuff we left behind in rideshares last year.  The most common things we forgot are the usual suspects:  Phone, wallet, keys, luggage, and headphones.

But their most UNIQUE list is where the real action’s at.  They shared a list of 50 oddball things we forgot in Ubers last year.  Here are the highlights . . .

1.  A mannequin head with human hair

2.  A Viking drinking horn

3.  A chainsaw

4.  A turtle

5.  A urinal  (???)

6.  Shrek ears

7.  A witch’s broom  Uber says the Saturday before Halloween was our most forgetful day last year.

8.  Two mattresses

9.  15 hookahs

10.  An aquarium

11.  A DNA testing kit

12.  A unicycle

13.  A huge bouquet of 100 roses

14.  A traffic cone

15.  A plunger

16.  Someone got in touch looking for a photo they took at Benihana.

17.  A cactus

18.  Some hard-boiled eggs

19.  A sewing machine

20.  Some Cornish hens

21.  A placard that said, “It’s a Philly thing.”

22.  10 live lobsters

23.  Some Hannah Montana merch

24.  Divorce papers  (!!!)

25.  Ozempic

They did a separate list of the 20 weirdest food items we left behind:  A five-gallon bucket of beans . . . 175 sliders . . . a “bucket of feta” . . . a gallon of Sunny D . . . and someone left behind 108 eggs.  That person is now bankrupt.

Uber says the five most forgetful cities last year were New York, Miami, Chicago, L.A., and D.C.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
