Pay It Backward? Dunkin’ Scammer Sparks Viral Moment

A guy scammed free coffee by saying the car behind would pay. One woman clapped back with kindness—and a dash of TikTok revenge.

You’ve heard about a “pay it forward” chain at a drive-thru . . . where someone pays for the person behind them.  It’s nice, but it also puts them in a spot where they have to decide if they’ll do it for the next person.

Well, a woman is going viral on TikTok for sharing her experience of someone paying it BACKWARD.

Her name is Samantha, and she was at a Dunkin’ drive thru last week.  And when she pulled up to the window, the clerk told her that the guy ahead of her . . . who’d left . . . told them that SHE would be paying for HIS order.

In the caption, she said, “To the random guy in front of me . . . who lied to the employee . . . I hope you have the day you deserve.”

Samantha later posted a follow-up, where she clarified that she did NOT pay for his order, and the Dunkin’ employees were very cool about it . . . even though they were frustrated that the guy ahead essentially STOLE his coffee.

She said she was “taken aback that someone would do that.”

She also shared video of her trying to RESTORE GOODNESS IN THE WORLD by going back to the Dunkin . . . and paying for the person BEHIND HER.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
