Is CoComelon Too Much for Kids’ Brains?

Is CoComelon overstimulating your kid’s brain? Some parents say it’s the digital version of crack—fast, flashy, and behavior-altering.

Kids love that show “CoComelon”, with its bright colors, loud music, and fast-paced action.  But is it bad for your children?  Some parents are starting to think so.

Influencers are comparing it to CRACK for kids.  They say it’s overstimulating, and leads to negative behaviors . . . especially when parents try to turn it off.

One of them says she doesn’t allow her kids to watch “CoComelon” at all.  Quote, “It’s too fast-paced, it’s too aggressive, and I don’t like how big their eyes are.  It’s scary.

“I also feel like the overstimulation is playing into the short attention span I think kids already have.  When kids get used to constant entertainment, they struggle with boredom and quiet play.”

The company that produces the show says, quote, “We dedicate substantial care and resources to ensure all of our content, including ‘CoComelon’, is as enriching as it is entertaining.

“We work closely with experts in childhood development to inform our content development choices.”

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
