Best Tax Day Food Deals You Don’t Want to Miss

Tax Day deals are here! From BOGO donuts to $0.01 burgers, here’s where to grab a bite without making your wallet weep.

If all that last-minute tax prep made you work up an appetite, here’s something to help . . .

A bunch of national chains have deals to help take the sting out of Tax Day.  Here are a few of the best ones this year.

1.  Krispy Kreme has a buy-one-get-one deal.  Buy a dozen donuts and you’ll only pay sales tax for a second dozen of their Original Glazed.

2.  Burger King has one-cent cheeseburgers.  You have to be a Royal Perks member and go through their app.  You can get one cheeseburger for a penny if you spend at least $1.

3.  Shake Shack has free Black Truffle burgers with the promo code “TRUFFLETAX”.  You have to spend at least $10.40 . . . as in “1040” tax forms.

4.  7-Eleven has a delivery deal.  The code “WRITEOFF” gets you $10.40 off your delivery through their app if you spend at least $20.

5.  Hooters has a discount on appetizers through their app.  It’s April 15th, so you can get one appetizer for $4.15.

6.  Potbelly has a buy-one-get-one sandwich deal with the promo code “BOGO”.  Buy one Original sandwich and get a second one free.

7.  California Pizza Kitchen reward members can get $10 off delivery or takeout if they spend at least $40.  BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse has a similar deal with the code “10OFF40”.

8.  Smoothie King has a deal for rewards members.  $3 off any $15 purchase, or $4 if you spend 20 bucks.

(USA Today and People.com have even more deals you can check out.)

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
