The Most Common Toxic Workplace Behaviors in 2025

Toxic work vibes are up in 2025. From gossip to credit-stealing, here’s what’s making the office feel like high school with paychecks.

Is workplace BULLYING a bigger problem than it used to be?

Someone polled 1,000 people who have a job, but are looking for a new one.  22% said people at work seem meaner than they were a year ago.  And 62% think companies should put up signs reminding people to be nice to each other.

Here are five of the most common toxic workplace behaviors in 2025 . . .

1.  Gossiping.  45% have seen it happen in the past year.

2.  Unprofessional communication, 37%.

3.  Taking steps to avoid working with certain people, 28%.

4.  Excluding coworkers in other ways, 26%.

5.  Taking credit for other people’s work, 24%.

Bosses were also polled.  Half agreed employee behavior does seem to be trending down.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
