Sweatpant Jeans: The Comfy Denim Trend Taking Over

Sweatpant jeans are here—comfy like sweats, but look like denim. 👖 Would you wear them, or is this fashion gone too far?

There’s an emerging trend of people wearing SWEATPANT JEANS.  If you haven’t seen this yet, it’s what it sounds like:  Sweatpants that are made to LOOK like denim jeans.

FULL STORY:  Remember when employees would push for “casual days” so they could wear jeans to the office?  Well, that was pre-pandemic, pre-remote working.  Now, jeans AREN’T CASUAL ENOUGH.

There’s an emerging trend of people wearing SWEATPANT JEANS.  If you haven’t seen this yet, it’s what it sounds like:  Sweatpants that are made to LOOK like denim jeans.  Here’s an example.

They’re already available in a bunch of styles:  If you Google “sweatpant jeans,” there are ones in every style that regular jeans come in . . . including high-waist, wide-leg, low-rise, torn or “distressed,” and “skinny jeans.”

The prices are all over the map, but many of them are affordable . . . closer to sweatpant prices than trendy jeans prices.

According to CNN, they’re becoming a major “viral trend” . . . so SOMEONE at your office will try to pass these off as jeans for “casual” days.

Until we all slide farther down the slippery slope . . . and people want to work in their UNDERWEAR.

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
