Snarkless: Wet Dogs, Artificial Hearts, and Pizza Pies

From a titanium heart to a heroic pizza-saving cop, here are three Snarkless stories to brighten your day. ❤️🐶🍕🐊

Snarkless – Because even we need a break from the madness. Once a day, we swallow our sarcasm (it burns, honestly) and deliver three legitimately good news stories—no cynicism, no side-eye, just pure, unfiltered positivity. It’s weird for us too, but hey, even the apocalypse deserves a little sunshine.

Here are a few more Snarkless stories making the rounds . . .

1.  A guy in Australia set a new record by surviving 100 days with an artificial heart made of titanium.  He was the first person to ever leave the hospital with one.  It kept him going until a real heart became available earlier this month.

2.  Emergency responders in Pittsburgh saved a dog that fell down a hill and into the Ohio River on Monday.  A diver jumped in and got him onto a boat.  He was very cold and wet, but okay.

3.  Here’s a good one for Pi Day:  A cop in Bradenton, Florida saved a pizza delivery driver from being attacked by an eight-foot ALLIGATOR on Sunday.  She showed up to deliver a lady’s pizza, and didn’t know it was under a car.

Luckily, the cop was already there and clued her in.  He told her to go around to the back door, but she didn’t even want to do that.  So HE delivered the pizza.

The chest-cam footage is great, because the customer was an older lady who got a little too close for comfort.  He told her there was an alligator . . . said to get back in the house . . . and she responded with, “Where’s my PIZZA!?”

She wanted a photo of the gator, so the cop helped out with that too.  Animal wranglers eventually showed up and took it away.  Here’s the video.

Scott and Sadie

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
