Demi Lovato Tried a $19 Strawberry—And People Are Mad About It

Demi Lovato tried a $19 Japanese strawberry and gave it an 8/10. 🍓 But the internet had thoughts on her pricey snack choice.

A few weeks ago, we heard about a $19 Japanese strawberry that was being sold in Beverly Hills.  That’s $19 for a SINGLE STRAWBERRY.

So you’re wondering, obviously, if it’s any good.  Well, Demi Lovato tried one and posted her reaction on TikTok.  Her rating?  Not awesome.

She gave it an 8 out of 10 and said, quote, “It’s not tart at all, which I like; I don’t like tart strawberries.  But it’s not that sweet.  Oh, well!  Just wasted $20.”

Demi is actually getting blowback for this video.  As one person put it, quote, “This level of capitalism is actually sick.”

Is this what it’s come to?  We have to micromanage how everyone spends their money?  She dropped 19 of her own freakin’ dollars, as she has every right to, and you want to hang her in the public square?  Seriously, get a grip!

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
