Breast Milk Ice Cream Is Coming—But Would You Try It?

Would you try breast milk-flavored ice cream? A baby brand is launching this sweet, nutty treat—but is it real or a prank?

This seems like an early April Fools’ joke, but the company says it’s not:  BREAST MILK ICE CREAM will debut later this year.

A baby brand called Frida is releasing it this December.  They said on Instagram that it’s “due in nine months.”

It’s not made with ACTUAL breast milk.  It’s just breast milk flavored.  They say it tastes sweet and nutty with a hint of salt.  It also has some of the same nutrients as breast milk.  Here’s the post.

They claim “everyone’s secretly wondered” what breast milk tastes like, so they expect it to be popular.  They joked people are “pumped” to try it.

They say it’s a, quote, “pitch perfect representation of the sweet, creamy, nutrient-packed goodness we’ve all wanted to try, but have been afraid to.”

They’re doing pre-orders, but not yet.  You can sign up to be notified at Frida.com.

A rep confirmed to “People” magazine that it’s not an April Fools’ Day thing.  But some people are still suspicious.
