A Relay Racer Bashed Her Opponent Over the Head with a Baton

And it looks intentional, but she claims it wasn’t.

A high school track star bashed an opponent over the head with a baton during a relay race at the state finals in Virginia last week.

She says her arms were just pumping really hard, and her arm stuck behind the other girl when she passed by.  She got pretty emotional talking about it in an interview the other day.

Last we heard, the girl she hit was being treated for a concussion and a possible skull fracture.  Some people think the girl who did it should face charges.  Some think it really was a mistake.

Scott and Sadie

Meet Scott and Sadie: the anti-heroes of morning radio turned podcast renegades. Scott’s 40 years in broadcasting have left him fluent in snark, while Sadie’s nepotistic origins (thanks, Mom!) brought the unfiltered charm that made them a Northern Colorado favorite. After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
