J.D. Power has released its 2025 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study, which analyzed the durability of three-year-old cars, from the model year 2022.
Lexus was the top-ranking brand for a third consecutive year. It was followed by Buick, Mazda, Toyota, and Cadillac. Of all 30 brands, Volkswagen ranked LAST. Chrysler was next-worst, followed by Jeep, Audi, and Land Rover.
JDPower.com has the full report. Tesla wasn’t included in the ranking, because they wouldn’t cooperate. But they would’ve been “below the industry average.”
