Super Bowl 59 Fallout: Mahomes Apologizes, Philly Goes Wild, and More

Super Bowl 59 fallout: Philly went wild, Jalen Hurts hit Disney World, Mahomes apologized, and Taylor Swift’s team carried cat litter. Oh, and Kendrick Lamar’s streams skyrocketed. What a night!

Here’s some of the fallout from Super Bowl 59 . . .

1.  Philadelphia went crazy on Sunday night, to no one’s surprise.  Fans toppled streetlights, broke windows, set fires, harassed cops, shot off fireworks, fought EACH OTHER . . . you know, typical Philly behavior.

You can see UNCENSORED videos here and here.  And here’s an UNCENSORED video of fans burning a Kermit the Frog doll.  They’re slagging Patrick Mahomes, who kinda sounds like Kermit.

2.  You better believe Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts went to Disney World.

3.  Patrick Mahomes Tweeted an apology for the Chiefs’ dismal performance on Sunday.  He said, quote, “Appreciate all the love and support from Chiefs Kingdom.

“I let y’all down today.  I’ll always continue to work and try and learn and be better for it.  Want to give thanks to God for every opportunity he has given me.  We will be back.”

4.  126 million people watched the Super Bowl across all platforms.  That’s the all-time record.  The previous record was set last year at 123.7 million viewers.

5.  Spotify streams for Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” jumped 430% in the hours following the Super Bowl.  Streams for his overall catalog increased by 175%.

6.  While Drake was getting roasted in New Orleans, he was actually thousands of miles away, performing in Melbourne, Australia . . . where he gave $45,000 to fans.

He gave 25k to a fan who had a sign reading “Adonis for President” . . . which was a reference to Drake’s 7-year-old son.  And he gave another $20,000 to a woman with a sign that said “Kiss Me It’s My Birthday”.

7.  Did you know that the families of Super Bowl players have to BUY their tickets?  And each player’s family can buy up to 15.

8.  This video started circulating again after Sunday night.  Back in 2023, Howard Stern asked Eagles superfan Bradley Cooper if he’d rather win an Oscar, or have Philly win the Super Bowl.  Guess what he chose?

9.  And last but not least . . . Taylor Swift was spotted boarding her private plane at the New Orleans airport.  Well, it’s ASSUMED she was spotted.  Her lackeys had her hidden behind umbrellas.

And one of those lackeys was carrying CAT LITTER.

After corporate radio ghosted them harder than a bad Tinder date, the duo ditched FCC babysitters and went full rogue. Now, they’re back with a podcast that’s equal parts wit, sarcasm, and a big middle finger to mediocrity. Loyal fans, curious newcomers, or algorithm strays—welcome to the chaos.
